A Pershore arts centre is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
Number 8 opened its doors for the first time on December 4, 2004, with a gala show by Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS).
The opening came after years of fundraising and campaigning by the community to launch an arts centre in the town.
Now, two decades later, the centre will mark its anniversary with a special event for volunteers, subscribers, and invited guests on Thursday (December 5).
The evening will celebrate past achievements and future successes.
Guests will enjoy the debut of a short film about the centre, a presentation of the centre's history and future plans, and performances from PODS and dancers from the Chance to Dance classes.
There will also be a drinks reception.
Tony Rowley, Number 8's chair of trustees, said: "We felt that it was important to mark our 20th anniversary and thank all of those that have contributed to the centre’s development and play a part in the centre’s continuing success.
"This is a great opportunity to reflect on all that has been achieved and look forward to continuing success in the future."
