CONCERNS for a man's safety caused police officers to close the city's main bridge.
Police closed part of Worcester Bridge on Friday evening (November 29) for around an hour.
Firefighters, paramedics and police rushed to the scene after people were concerned for the man's safety.
The man was later located by officers and no arrests were made.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Worcester Bridge at around 8.10pm on Friday (29 November), following a concern for safety report.
"One man was located by officers and assessed by ambulance crew.
"No arrests were made."
