National Express West Midlands has partnered with Yoti to accept digital student IDs on buses.
This means students can now download the free student ID and use it as proof of student status when travelling.
The initiative aims to improve customer experience and allow inspectors to swiftly confirm student discount tickets.
Adam Rideout, head of customer experience at National Express West Midlands, said: "The new student ID feature from Yoti will make it even easier for customers to provide proof of student status when travelling on our services and benefit from cheaper travel."
