A WOMAN must pay her victim £1,000 compensation after pleading guilty to wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
Kelly Crocke, of Gamekeepers Drive, Warndon, Worcester, was handed an eight-month prison sentence suspended for 24 months.
Magistrates in Worcester said the offence was so serious that only a custodial sentence could be justified.
The 49-year-old pleaded guilty after Worcester Magistrates Court heard she unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm upon another woman on Saturday, May 4.
Crocke was also ordered to pay compensation of £1,000. No order for costs was made during the hearing on Thursday, November 28.
A second charge of assaulting the same person resulting in actual bodily harm was withdrawn.
