A youth drama group has raised £500 for charity.
The Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section's (WODYS) donation was raised during the group's production of The Addams Family, which took place during the summer.
The group, which puts on a production every year, raises money for charity with a raffle that takes place during the interval at every show, with thousands of pounds going to good causes over the years.
This year, the money raised went to Malvern-based charity, Association for Rehabilitation of Communication and Oral Skills (ARCOS), which aims to improve the lives of people with conditions that make communication, eating, drinking, and swallowing difficult.
After the show, Kay Coombs, CEO of ARCOS, visited WODYS with service coordinator Nick Reid and colleague Margaret Walker to receive the cheque.
Ms Coombs said: "We cannot thank you all enough for supporting ARCOS this year, and we are looking forward to attending next year’s production of Footloose and contribute to your support for Malvern Special Families.
"The exuberance and achievement of WODYS’ young people is inspiring.
"Working together in musical theatre clearly helps develop their communication skills and self-confidence, areas that are such a challenge for so many ARCOS clients."
WODYS will be performing Footloose at the Swan Theatre from Tuesday, July 29 until Saturday, August 2.
Tickets can be bought by visiting the Huntingdon Hall Box Office or by calling 01905 611427.
The show will help raise money for Malvern Special Families.
