A POPULAR Worcestershire pub devastated by the flooding caused by Storm Bert has announced its re-opening date.
Fox Inn, in Bransford, has revealed it is aiming to re-open on Monday, December 9.
The countryside pub was forced to close after water came flooding in following heavy rain from Storm Bert.
The pub lies next to the River Teme off the A4103 by Bransford Bridge and staff said that despite flood defences and water pumps, the river managed to make its way in.

However, staff at the pub have now revealed builders have been busy getting to work with the clean-up and repairs following the flood, meaning they will be able to re-open two weeks after their sudden closure.
A spokesperson for Fox Inn told the Worcester News: "The builders have been quickly getting to work and we have been given the date of Monday, December 9 to reopen.
"For those of you that had tables booked, thank you for your patience. I believe you have all been spoken to now and we will process deposit refunds in the coming days.
“We’re working hard to get our pub back open as soon as possible, following the recent flooding.
"We’re really grateful to all our customers for their patience and understanding and can’t wait to start celebrating the festive period with everyone.”
Fox Inn initially posted on Facebook on Sunday, November 24, announcing the closure but was hopeful it would reopen the following day.
However, it later announced that water had entered the pub and that it would remain closed until staff could understand the damage and how long it would take to repair.
The pub's Facebook page posted pictures of the flood waters covering the inside of the pub and wrapping around the bar area.
Storm Bert devastated homes and businesses as river levels rose across the county.
A Met Office yellow weather warning for strong winds was issued on Saturday night (November 23), causing traffic chaos on the roads.
