A MAN wearing a black scarf around his face threatened a woman as she was walking home from work.
The victim of the attempted robbery was walking along Bath Road where the man approached and threatened her wanting money.
He then ran off towards Ransom Avenue.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are asking for witnesses in an attempted robbery which occurred [on Monday] night (November 25) at approximately 11pm on the Bath Road, near to the junction of Ransom Avenue and Bunns Road.

"A lady walking back from her place of work has been approached by a male who in turn has threatened her wanting money.
"Male has then run off in the direction of Ransom Avenue.
"The male has been described as a white male, wearing all black, with a black scarf around his face and hood pulled up over his head."
