The academy will offer apprentices a chance to gain practical experience and professional development across a variety of disciplines within the technology directorate, including cyber security, data analysis, and service desk support.
Apprentices will be able to explore the different career paths before deciding on the pathway that best matches their strengths and ambitions.
The programme aims to be inclusive, ensuring that all participants can thrive, irrespective of their academic history or background.
The programme will officially begin on Wednesday (November 27).
The Digital Futures Academy is a key part of the group’s commitment to providing excellent customer service in the housing sector and offering skill development opportunities to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Chief information officer Jon Cocker said: "We are excited to launch the Digital Futures Academy that focuses on developing digital expertise while fostering a customer-centric mindset.
"We want to encourage people from all backgrounds and abilities to apply, including those who may not have flourished within the traditional school environment but who possess the talent, drive, and passion to succeed.
"We believe in the potential of every individual, and this Academy reflects our mission to invest in both people and technology to deliver better outcomes for our communities."
Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience and choose their pathway based on personal interests and strengths.
The company says there are also competitive salaries on offer along with dedicated support and development opportunities.
The academy will allow apprentices to work on projects that directly improve the lives of customers in the social housing sector.
Anyone interested in the scheme can find out more and register their interest by visiting the Digital Futures Academy webpage on the Platform Housing Group website.
