A driver behind the wheel when a school bus got stuck in flood water after Storm Bert struck will face no police action.
However, an investigation has been launched by the coach company after the bus with 57 children inside became trapped in flood water near Eckington Bridge on Monday morning.
It forced the fire service to launch a boat rescue after Worcestershire was battered by heavy rain as Storm Bert caused chaos on county roads, including emergency road and school closures.
Although West Mercia Police said no action was deemed necessary, the coach company confirmed it had launched its own investigation into what happened.
"Officers attended along with fire and rescue crew who safely removed all passengers from the bus. There were no injuries, and no damage was caused as a result of the incident. A replacement bus was arranged for the children and no further police involvement was necessary."
A spokesperson for NN Creswell Coach Hire Limited said: "There's an investigation underway into the incident."
The company provides coach Hire for Evesham, Broadway, Stratford upon Avon, Worcester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Bidford upon Avon and The Cotswolds.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fifty seven schoolchildren and one adult were rescued from the vehicle and continued their journey to school on a replacement coach."

"The incident was marked as pending closure at 7.13am."
Eckington Road was closed by Worcestershire County Council at 7.10am.
Dr Evans, headteacher of Prince Henry's High School, said: "This morning, the police have made us aware that there was an accident involving the EV12 bus at Eckington Bridge, with 57 of our students on board.
"At the current time our understanding is that the bus had left the road and ended up in a ditch with flood water around it.
"The fire service and police have been attending the scene, supporting the students."
