POLICE are searching for a man after hundreds of pounds were stolen from a customer and a Worcester shop.

West Mercia Police is keen to speak to a person in relation to a burglary at a business in the Hopmarket.

Around £250 was taken from the store at around 4pm on October 31.

The money is believed to have been taken from a handbag belonging to someone in the store and the till.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Anyone who recognises the person or has information which may help with enquiries is asked to contact PC Matthew Waite by emailing matthew.waite@westmercia.police.uk."
