A Tudor-style Christmas celebration is set for a Worcester stately home and garden.

Greyfriars House & Garden will be decked out for a traditional Tudor Christmas.

Visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere at the late medieval timber-framed building in the city centre with guided tours, highlighting 500 years of history as the house is adorned with lights, feasts, roses, and wreaths.

The Lypett Household of reenactors will host traditional crafts and festive preparations on Friday, December 13.

The following day, visitors can partake in feasting, dancing, and other merriments to celebrate Christmas in Tudor fashion.

Special extended opening hours will be available for the Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre from Thursday (November 28) to Sunday (December 1).

After exploring the fayre, guests can visit the walled garden, which will be illuminated with a colourful light display.

The medieval house will also be open after dark.

Other attractions include the Old Oak Café, offering festive bakes, and a second-hand bookshop at No. 14, both decorated with seasonal displays.
