A former member of a popular 70s rock band is set to return to Worcester.
Martin Turner, formerly of Wishbone Ash, will perform at Huntingdon Hall on Sunday, March 9 as part of the Blowin' Free Tour 2025, celebrating the 55th anniversary of the original band's formation.
Wishbone Ash, known for its distinctive harmony-guitar style, was founded in London in 1969 by West Country musicians Turner and Steve Upton.
The band's original line-up, including guitarists Ted Turner and Andy Powell, forged a musical identity that produced popular rock classics and influenced many other bands.
The show, at 7.30pm on the day, will feature a mix of classic tracks, stage favourites, and deeper album cuts.
Tickets are priced at £24.
