A FLOOD warning has been issued for South Worcester, with the River Severn expected to burst its banks in the coming days.
Heavy rainfall across the county over the weekend has seen water levels quickly rise.
A spokesperson for Floodline said: "Flooding of property, roads and farmland near Diglis is expected today (Monday).
"We expect flooding to affect properties on Quay Street, South Quay, Diglis Avenue and Hood Street."
At 7.30am on Monday (November 25), the River Severn at Diglis was measured to be 4.35 metres, 0.1 metres higher than the threshold for properties to begin flooding in the area.
