THOUSANDS of people were left without internet for hours after a problem with Sky Broadband.
Worcester was one of the main places affected, according to popular monitoring website Downdetector.
People started reporting the outage at around 8pm last night (Saturday, November 23).
Downdetector data showed services did not resume until at least 1am this morning in Worcester.
More than 5,000 people across Worcestershire and Gloucestershire reported the incident to the website.
@SkyUK there is a massive broadband outage for Worcester, Gloucestershire and Hereford. Pointing people to the help section really doesn’t “help”. Can we get an update on the situation? #sky #skybroadband #skyhelp #broadbandoutage https://t.co/fSkfDKdSCm

X user, @Ambiedrew said: "sky broadband still down in worcester, mines been down since 8:30pm :( sky website saying no known issues yet thousands of reports on downdetector says otherwise."
While @charteezac said: "@SkyHelpTeam @SkyUK how long till you acknowledge that the Internet is down in at least Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire? What are you doing to sort it? Telling us to check our speed (service unavailable!) is a massive insult to our collective intellect."
