NEAR-constant rain is set to arrive in Worcester and the city is bracing itself.
Storm Bert will hit the UK tomorrow (November 23) and bring heavy rain and strong winds.
Worcester is bracing itself with the Christmas lights switch-on event having been cancelled along with the Santa Sleigh.
Most of the country has been issued with a yellow weather warning by the Met Office including some areas of Worcestershire.
The Met Office is predicting that Worcester will see rainfall from 2am on Saturday (November 23) until 6am on Sunday.
Worcestershire County Council has already advised drivers to take caution when driving and alert the council to any fallen trees.
A National Grid spokesperson said: "Storm Bert is expected to bring strong winds and heavy rain on Friday evening and over the weekend.
"We have put a range of measures in place to ensure we’re ready to deal with potential power cuts."
