A weight loss group has been recognised at a national entrepreneurship award ceremony.
Evolve Weight Loss, launched in July 2023, was celebrated as an 'Early Stage Stand Out Business' at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards Gala 2024, held at Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
The company, which has locations in Longbridge, Droitwich, and Northampton, has been recognised for its impact on the industry.
There are plans to open groups in Redditch and Worcester.
Jen Flannigan, co-founder of the company, attended the event and expressed her gratitude.
She said: "Being here tonight is such an incredible honour. To have our work celebrated at such a prestigious event is deeply humbling.
"Evolve Weight Loss was founded with the desire to build a supportive community where people could feel encouraged rather than judged - a place where they could nurture a healthy relationship with food and themselves.
"Our mission has always been to empower individuals on their unique journeys, ensuring they remain in control every step of the way."
The group has grown quickly since its launch, with hundreds of members across the UK.
Their approach to weight loss focuses on flexible, sustainable lifestyle changes and a judgement-free environment.
The group was recognised in the awards for the impact they have had and the change they are driving in the industry.
Ms Flannigan said: "This recognition isn’t just for us, it’s for every member who has believed in what we’re building and made Evolve a part of their journey.
"Their trust and dedication fuel our drive to do even better."
"This award is a reminder of how far we’ve come, but also how much more we want to do.
"We’re just getting started and we can’t wait to bring the Evolve experience to even more people."
The Great British Entrepreneur Awards celebrate the hard work, resilience, and innovation of entrepreneurs across the UK.
Recognising outstanding business achievements, the awards focus on storytelling and the individuals behind the ventures, rather than just financial success.
With categories spanning industries, the programme highlights the diversity of entrepreneurial talent and their positive contributions to the economy and communities.
