A SMALL village on the fringes of Worcestershire may have a few excited residents after their street won in a lottery.
The People's Postcode Lottery has announced that anyone who signed up for the draw living in WR11 7UA will be receiving a £1,000 cheque after it was selected in the draw today (Thursday).
The postcode in question covers parts of Winchcombe Road, Sedgeberrow, a village near Evesham near the county's border with Gloucestershire.
Earlier this month, two WR9 postcodes in Droitwich were picked out to win £1,000.
Subscriptions to the People's Postcode Lottery support various charities across the UK.
The lottery is hugely popular nationally and supports "a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and worldwide".
