A NURSERY in Worcester raised more than £500 for Children In Need thanks to the generosity of the community which has left staff 'blown away'.
The Fairfield Day Nursery in Carnforth Drive in Worcester managed to surpass expectations when they raised the large sum for BBC Children In Need.
Nursery manager Chloe Morris said: "This year we have been blown away with the generosity of our families here at Fairfield Day Nursery. We put together a week of fundraising and activities for the children, including a sponsored walk, raffle, cake sale, PJ day and teddy bears picnic.
"From our week of Pudsey fun we raised an amazing £530 for Children in Need. We wanted to celebrate this huge achievement and share it with our local community, who have always supported us with their generosity."
