A RETIRING police dog was the hero as he helped to find drugs in a Malvern house blighted by complaints of dealing.
Two men were arrested following the warrant on Sherrards Green Road on Tuesday (November 19) in which drugs believed to be crack cocaine were found.
An eyewitness told the Gazette that the drug dealing in the property was getting 'ridiculous.'
Police search dog ‘Waffle’, in his last ever raid, conducted a thorough search of the address and identified a couple of locations where drugs were hidden.

As well as the suspected class A drugs, class B and C drugs were also located in the address along with large amounts of suspected stolen meat, cheese and Ice cream and several prohibited weapons.
Malvern Safer Neighbourhood team, with the help of a task force, the Neighbourhood Crime Fighting team and a dog unit, carried out the drug warrant.
Officers entered the address and found a 21-year-old Malvern man and a 22-year-old man from Merseyside in the address.
Both men were arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs along with several other offences.
They were both interviewed last night and have been bailed while police continue their inquiries.
A spokesperson for Malvern Police said: "There was some great work by Waffle who along with his handler were carrying out their last-ever search before they both retire in a few days.
"We would like to thank residents in the Pickersleigh area for the intelligence received from them, which assisted in the warrant being granted by the courts.
"This was a great result which goes some way to tackling the drug problem in the area.
"We aim to disrupt drug dealing in Malvern and make it as hard as possible for dealers and drug lines to operate in our area."
