A community festival that was meant to be a one-off event has raised more than £2,500.
Dinesfest, which was held in September to celebrate the platinum anniversary of the Dines Green estate, was attended by around 500 people at Honeywell Primary School as £2,716 was raised.
The event was such a success that organisers have announced it will make a return next year.

Laura Cartwright, treasurer of the Dinesfest community group, said: "Dinesfest will be back next September, by popular demand, so some of the funds will be set aside for that.
"Independent community groups will be invited to apply to Dinesfest for small grants to help plans for inclusive future projects that aim to reduce isolation, enhance wellbeing and build community in Dines Green.
"But first of all, the Dinesfest team is planning to deliver a very special Christmas celebration at Honeywell Primary School on Thursday evening, December 5, between 6pm and 8pm."
The Christmas event will feature Santa and his illuminated, musical sleigh, courtesy of Worcester Lions Club.
Churches will provide refreshments, sing carols, and play festive music, while businesses will sell Christmas gifts in the school hall.
There will also be a tombola and indoor seating in Manor Park Church’s Café.
Tracey Donoher, a member of Dinesfest’s creative team, said: "We promise lots of festive magic for the kids, with an interactive queuing system and lots of photo opportunities.
"This might be the only chance that some of our families will meet Father Christmas in person this year, so we want the night to be amazing as well as affordable."
Worcester City councillors for Dines Green and Grove Farm respectively, Robyn Norfolk and Matt Lamb, have each donated some of their divisional funding to the community event, where each child present will be given a small festive treat following their chat with Santa.
Worcester Lions Club president Chris Southworth said: "We are looking forward to being the main attraction at Dinesfest does Christmas and would like to thank the local businesses that have donated to our funds by way of thanks."
