A MOBILE CCTV camera has been set up at the city's first pump track to monitor its usage.
Visitors to the new pump track in Battenhall Park, Worcester, have noticed the CCTV camera that has been set up near the track.
However, the camera is not expected to be in place forever.
A spokesperson for Worcester City Council said: "The city council has a small number of mobile CCTV cameras which are moved around the city every six weeks.
"A camera was located at the new Battenhall Park pump track to coincide with its opening, in order to provide oversight of the pump tracks usage in its early weeks of operation."

The pump track has been hugely popular with people of all ages who have visited the park since its opening on Friday, November 1.
Before its opening, there had been objections to the track from people living nearby.
Previously, councillor Louis Stephen said: "The pump track has been a polarising issue for the community with many residents fearing it could be a magnet for antisocial behaviour while other are keen to provide an outlet for young people."
Other reasons for objections included concerns over noise pollution and littering.
In the weeks since opening, reaction from users and neighbours of the park have been generally positive, with a second pump track in Worcester already in the works.
However, the track's location in the middle of a large residential area has caused issues with parking.
After these problems were shared with the city council, traffic enforcement officers were sent out to the area to monitor the issue.
A spokesperson for the council said: "We would encourage anybody heading to the pump track to consider walking, biking or public transport and leave your car at home where possible.
"For those who have to travel by car, please be respectful of local residents living in the surrounding area when parking."
