The town council will be holding the Christmas lights switch-on between 10am and 6pm on Saturday (November 23).
Worcestershire County Council has confirmed a road closure will be put in place on the A449 and Wells Road between 11am and 7pm for the festival.
The Mayor of Malvern, Cllr Marilyn Birks, said: “I can’t wait to welcome the people of Malvern to a day of festive fun.
"We are hosting many family-friendly activities, performances and workshops throughout the day at multiple locations across Great Malvern including meeting Santa at Malvern Library, taking part in the circus workshops at The Coach House Theatre and wandering around the mini market at Belle Vue plus much more.
"There will be something for everyone to enjoy and I Look forward to seeing you all there.”
The switch-on will see live performances on stages in the Priory Church Grounds, the crossroad stage area at the bottom of Church Street and Belle Vue Island.
There will also be circus-themed workshops from Mark at Solo Circus, fairground-style rides and stalls and local craft and food traders.
Families will be able to visit Father Christmas and his elves at Santa's grotto at Great Malvern Library.
The School of Larks will also be joining in the festive fun at The Coach House Theatre bringing live circus performances and workshops, as well as two performances.
The annual Christmas parade will take place at 5.15pm, beginning at the bottom of Church Street.
This will be followed by the lights switch on 15 minutes later, which will feature guest appearances from Mark James and Phillip Arran, who will be performing in the Sleeping Beauty pantomime at Malvern Theatres.
Then on Wednesday, December 18, there will be Christmas Carols Around the Tree at the Community Hub in Victoria Park.
Following the carols, there will be a live band at Victoria Park from 8pm as well as a small charity stall and refreshments.
