A new SEND centre has opened in Droitwich and another one is set to open in Worcester.
The centres will care for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) under the age of five in both Worcester and Droitwich.
Managed by Dingley’s Promise, the centre in Droitwich is located in Farmers Way and opened last week.
Another centre is scheduled to open in Worcester in St Alban's Close in January 2025.
Both WANDS Children’s Centre (Droitwich) and Bluebell Wood Children’s Centre (Worcester) will offer enhanced provision for children and support families across the county.
Lee Friend, chief operating officer at Dingley’s Promise said: "We are aware of the challenges families and early years educators have experienced and are excited and prepared to support as many families as possible to ensure that children with SEND in this area get the best start in life.
"Dingley’s Promise staff are highly trained in inclusive practice to enable children to develop in their own individual way and where possible enabling them to access mainstream education as a result of our support."

As well as enhanced nursery provision, the centres will provide a Family Support Outreach service offering coffee mornings and Stay and Play sessions and information sessions.
These are designed to develop networks of support as well as providing strategies and information to support families.
Holiday playschemes will also be provided to offer respite for families and a safe and practical environment for children with additional needs to play, supported by specialist early years educators.
