THE ODDS of snow falling in Worcestershire has significantly increased according to one forecaster.
Weather in the county has been fairly dull so far this November, with small patches of sunlight amid the near-constant overcast in the sky.
However, that may change in the coming week.
The Weather Outlook's prediction of snow to hit the city has significantly increased from the start of the week, with the organisation saying there is a 52 per cent chance of flakes falling on Wednesday, November 20.
Worcester's Christmas lights switch-on could also be given a snowy surprise later in the week, with the forecaster predicting a 35 per cent chance of snow on Saturday, November 23.
Snow outlook:
- Monday, November 18: 6 per cent
- Tuesday, November 19: 39 per cent
- Wednesday, November 20: 52 per cent
- Thursday, November 21: 36 per cent
- Friday, November 22: 15 per cent
- Saturday, November 23: 36 per cent
- Sunday, November 24: 24 per cent

The Met Office is much less confident in the chance of snow in the region, however.
Grahame Madge, a spokesman for the Met Office, said: "There are going to be colder conditions over the next week and it's the most significant period of cold weather this side of summer
"Areas of altitude in Wales and England are likely to see snow from Tuesday.
"At the moment there is no strong signal in Worcestershire but snow can be difficult to predict this early so there's still time."
The Weather Outlook has also predicted a very high likelihood of frost in Worcestershire.
Frost Outlook
- Monday, November 18: 36 per cent
- Tuesday, November 19: 12 per cent
- Wednesday, November 20: 48 per cent
- Thursday, November 21: 76 per cent
- Friday, November 22: 88 per cent
- Saturday, November 23: 73 per cent
- Sunday, November 24: 42 per cent
Mr Madge added: "Snow is something that people often get quite excited about the concept of, it is the ice and frost that is more important for people to focus on."
