A 'gruesome' talk billed as a 'white knuckle ride' through the English Civil War will shed light on a king's severed head and a general's death mask.
Organised by the Battle of Worcester Society, the talk called Civil War Heads is due to take place at The Hive in Sawmill Walk, Worcester on Thursday, November 28.
The talk by Robbie Porter begins at 7pm and is described as a 'white knuckle ride through some of the lesser known and more gruesome aspects of the Civil War, including the posthumous history of Oliver Cromwell's head and that oft-pondered question: who did Charles I spend his last dirty nap with?'
Tickets cost £7, £5 for BoWS members and £3 for students.
They are available from Tourist Information at Worcester Guildhall or online or by calling the Battle of Worcester Society. They are also available on the night, on the door.
