SLOW-MOVING traffic has returned along a road between the city centre and the M5 as roadworks continue
Temporary traffic lights have replaced the normal traffic lights on the Waitrose junction as the entrance to the car park is closed for construction work today (Thursday).
As a result, traffic can only move in one direction at a time, causing long queues along London Road.
City Fibre is carrying out remedial works on the stretch of road which will continue until tonight.
On Wednesday (November 13) traffic was queued back for half a mile between the supermarket and Wyld's Lane as cars drove towards the M5.
The roadworks were temporarily removed overnight to improve the flow of traffic around the city.
