A MOSQUE will open its doors for people to look around and ask questions.
Police will be supporting their community partners at the event on Saturday, November 16 at the mosque on Tallow Hill.
The open day is being held from 11am until 4pm and all are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be available at the venue.
Police will be bringing along their Community Engagement Van and officers from Cathedral SNT will be available to talk to about crime prevention advice and any concerns they may have.
There will also be some freebies for the young people to snap up on the day from the van.
Chief Inspector Paul Harvey from South Worcestershire Police said: “Come along and meet officers from Cathedral SNT this Saturday at the central mosque open day.
“All are welcome to attend this community event which is a great opportunity to speak to us about any concerns you may have as we continue our regular work to support our city partners.”
Mohammed Iqbal, secretary of the Worcester Muslim Welfare Association, added: “You're warmly invited to join us for an open day at our mosque.
“Come explore, ask questions, and discover what being a Muslim truly means.
“It’s a chance to see our place of worship, meet our community, and build bridges of understanding and friendship. We look forward to welcoming you."
