WORCESTER'S MP has given an update on when constituents can expect to see his office open.
Tom Collins is confident that he and his team will be up and running in the city centre before the end of the year.
He said: "It's been slow going, but we're now just waiting for a couple people to finish their notice periods before they can start working for us.
"We're hoping to have our office on The Tything, near Castle Street, open before Christmas which we want to make a hub for us to do.
Mr Collins was elected as Worcester's new MP in July, beating Conservative candidate and county councillor Marc Bayliss by 7,116 votes to become the city's first Labour MP since Michael Foster lost the seat in 2010.
Prior to being chosen as Labour's candidate, he served as a councillor in Rainbow Hill from 2018 to 2022.

Speaking to Worcester News in August, Mr Collins said he wanted to put the people at the heart of decision making and his ambitions have not wavered: "We want to bring people together and we want to be available for the people to be served.
"Our city deserves a really decent operation and we will be arranging things around the city so we can come to them, rather than them always needing to come to us.
"I have had so many people come up to me and say to me that we need to be selling ourselves as a city more and that is what I will be doing."
In August, Mr Collins also spoke about his intentions to work with people from the opposition, saying: "I've always promised that I will do politics in a way that is about solving our problems and collaborating and, in order to do that, you have to work with people that you don't always agree with."
Now, he has shared that he is happy to work with other parties on a local level: "I know that the councillors have my phone number and they are welcome to contact me."
