Dogs might not talk to humans but they easily become our best friends and if you’re looking for a furry bestie, we might be able to help you find it.
Whether you’re looking for a puppy or an older dog, Dogs Trust Evesham has lots of dogs available for you to welcome into the family.
If you can’t adopt a furry friend but still want to help, you can support the centre’s work by donating.
This can be done via the support page on its website.
7 dogs at Dogs Trust Evesham looking for forever homes
Alula
Gender – Female
Age – 2 years
Breed – Dogue de Bordeaux
See Alula’s full profile via the Dogs Trust website.
Alula, who is currently living in one of Dogs Trust’s foster homes, would like to live in a quiet home with a secure garden.
She’s looking for a calm home where there are no children but she can have younger visitors as she is used to being around smaller humans.
Alula needs to be the only dog in her new home but she can enjoy the company of other dogs on walks.
Jakey
Gender – Male
Age – 12 years
Breed – Border Terrier
See Jakey’s full profile via the Dogs Trust website.
Jakey is looking for a retirement home where he can live with children who are of secondary school age.
He can’t see very well and he doesn’t like other dogs too much so he’ll need to be the only one in his new home. He can live with a cat if they can be introduced appropriately.
Jakey is currently living in a foster home and has some ongoing medical conditions which will be discussed with his new owners.
Prudence
Gender – Female
Age – 3 years
Breed – Bulldog
See Prudence’s full profile via the Dogs Trust website.
Prudence is a “fabulous girl” who “loves to play”. She could live with another dog if they mix well at the centre but she can’t live with cats.
She can, however, live with children who are of primary school age and she’s currently enjoying time in a foster home.
Things to consider before adopting a pet
Scrabble
Gender – Male
Age – 12 years
Breed – Jack Russell Terrier cross
See Scrabble’s full profile via the Dogs Trust website.
Scrabble would suit a moderately busy home environment without young children but sensible older teens would be fine.
He needs to be the only dog in his new home as he can be a bit reactive to others. Because of this, he’d benefit from a low dog-populated area. He could also travel to quieter walking areas in the car.
Lola
Gender – Female
Age – 1 year
Breed – Akita/Malinois cross
See Lola’s full profile via the Dogs Trust website.
Lola was found as a stray and she’s now ready to find a forever home.
She can’t live with young children as she is a large dog who isn’t sure of her size and has manners to learn.
Lola could live with another dog as long as they get on well when meeting at the centre.
Skye
Gender – Female
Age – 2 years
Breed – French Bulldog
See Skye’s full profile via the Dogs Trust website.
Skye needs a quiet and adult-only home where she can be the only pet.
She is totally blind and can get worried when there is a lot going on. The centre said she’ll need her new owners to use sound, textures and scent to help her understand what’s going on.
Skye needs a secure garden so she has a safe space to explore.

Alison
Gender – Female
Age – 9 years
Breed – Staffordshire Bull Terrier
See Alison’s full profile via the Dogs Trust website.
Alison is an older girl but still likes to run around and is “full of beans”.
She’s currently living in a foster home but hopes to find a permanent home where the youngest children are of secondary school age.
She can enjoy walks with other dogs but she doesn’t like them to share her space so she’ll need to be the only dog in her new home.
