A TEENAGER was rescued from the River Severn after falling into the river.
The man was saved by the Fire Service's swift rescue team after they were called out at around 3.30am on Sunday (November 10).
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Three crews – two from Worcester Fire Station, including the water first responders, and one from Malvern Fire Station – plus the boat crews from Evesham and Worcester and the incident command unit and drone from Ledbury were called to a rescue from water in Henwick Road, Worcester.

Paramedics and the police were also at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "The man, who had been rescued from the water, was assessed by ambulance staff before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further checks."
