FIREFIGHTERS were called to the city's hospital after a teenager got his finger stuck in a ring.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service arrived at Worcestershire Royal Hospital just before midnight to free a teenage boy's finger.
The ring had become stuck on his left hand and an electric ring cutter had to be used to release it.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 11.34pm on November 11 to a minor release at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
"An electric ring cutter was used to successfully remove a ring from the left hand of a teenage boy.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 12.24am."
