TWO men were arrested after a car overturned on the A449 Claines roundabout.

A hybrid car crashed into a lamppost and trees on the side of the road and flipped.

Police, the fire service and paramedics were all at the scene.

Everyone was out of the vehicle by the time emergency services arrived and nobody was seriously injured.

Three people were taken into custody by police officers.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to a single-vehicle collision on the A449 near Claines roundabout at around 8.20am on Saturday (November 9).

"One man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and has since been released under investigation.

"A second man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taking a motor vehicle without consent, and has since been released under investigation."

Traffic was slow moving through Claines for several hours after the crash due to one lane being closed for emergency services to reach the accident.
