A "gobsmackingly tight rhythm section" from Bristol's jazz scene is set to perform in Worcester.
Music Spoken Here will present King Heron, described as having an "unapologetically different slant on the guitar trio format", at The Marrs Bar on Thursday, November 28.
The group, praised as "great stuff" by Jazz FM's Tony Minvielle, will perform their unique blend of "lyrical expression, hard-edged basslines, and clanging rock".
The band have shared stages with the likes of Oscar Jerome, Mdou Moctar, and Lydian Collective.
Their 2023 single ‘Stasis (ft. Andrew Neil Hayes)’ marked their first collaboration with a guest appearance from the Run Logan Run tenor player.
Their second EP, ‘Risky Business’, was released in September.
