THE construction of Worcester's newest bridge has not been delayed by the recent floods.
Heavy rainfall saw much of the riverside Worcester submerged after the Severn burst its banks in October including the area around Kepax Bridge.
Worcestershire County Council said the bridge is still on target to be completed by the end of December 2024.

A spokesperson for the county council said: "Despite further flooding, works continue to progress well with the bridge scheduled to open before the end of the year."
The bridge will link Gheluvelt Park with St Clement and will be the most northerly crossing in the city.
Construction work on the walking and cycling bridge began at the start of the year after the work on the foundations were completed.
The final section of the bridge was lowered into place in July, with finishing touches
