A CITY centre deli has announced its sudden closure after three years of serving customers.
Much-loved cafe, Sangers Gourmet Sandwiches and Deli, took to social media to announce the closure.
Sangers, in Infirmary Walk, Netherton Court, which is well known for making gourmet sandwiches and Detroit-style pizza, will be closing on Sunday, December 1.
The deli said: "Dear Friends and Customers, with heavy hearts, we announce that Sunday, December 1st will be our last day of business.
"After three years of serving this wonderful community, it’s time to say goodbye.
"This decision was not easy, and we will deeply miss all of you who have supported us along the way.
"To our loyal customers: thank you for making this journey so memorable.
"Your support, smiles, and conversations have meant the world to us.
"You’ve been more than just customers—you’ve been a part of our family.
"We appreciate every one of you and the memories we’ve created together.
"Words cannot describe the gratitude we have towards our incredible staff.
"Your hard work and dedication has made this place what it is.
"We couldn’t have come this far without you, and we cherish each of you.
"We wish you all the best for what lies ahead and we know you will continue to do amazing things.
"Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being a part of this journey with us.
"We hope to see as many of you as possible over the next few weeks as we celebrate the end of an era together."
