WORCESTER BID has been given a massive boost in support from businesses in the city.
The Business Improvement District was set up to improve the city centre by supporting the commercial sector and has been involved in numerous events such as the recent Waddle of Worcester.
Anja Potze, Worcester BID chair, said: "We are delighted to have received positive support from our business community in the Worcester BID ballot.
"We received 94 per cent backing by total number of votes and 98 per cent support by Rateable Value of all properties that voted.
"This is a fantastic increase from the 2019 ballot, where we received 84 per of votes and 83 per cent by Rateable Value.
"That means we can continue making a positive impact in the city centre to at least 2030."
