A special memorial service is being held to remember loved ones who have died in the last year.
People from across Worcester can come together and remember the loved ones who have died over the past year at Worcester Crematorium and Cemetery on Thursday, December 12.
Tickets are free, however, numbers are limited to 105, so residents are being encouraged to apply for tickets as soon as they can.
Sian Redmond, of Worcester City Council’s Bereavement Services, said: “Christmas is a time of celebration, but if you have lost a loved one in recent months it can be difficult to face seasonal festivities without them.
“This memorial service will give people the chance to share the experience of grieving for a loved one and also celebrate that person’s life, in the company of others who have had a similar experience.”
