LOOK AROUND a bowling venue's new £100k refurbishment as it has teased the comeback of a popular attraction.

Visitors have their golf clubs at the ready as Worcester Bowl revealed it has brought back its scrapyard golf course - but with a new layout and improvements.

(Image: Worcester Bowl) The Everoak Estate business, in Bromyard Road, St Johns, has spent around £100,000 to upgrade its golf course so visitors can be challenged with a new layout. 

Pete Terry, CEO of Disco Bowl, said: “We are really proud to invest in Worcester Bowl, which we have owned since 2019.

"So we have upgraded it to our latest standard at a cost of £100k, and our customers have so far been delighted."

The refurbishment is one of many changes that has come to the centre's way and there is still more to come.

He said: "We are now upgrading the bowling machines to the latest string bowling, which our customers will experience in mid-November.

The site had its first set of improvements in 2021 when owners invested £75,000 into giving it a fresher and more modern look.

It also saw the introduction of a DJ to help provide a disco feel to the Saturday night entertainment.

Disco Bowl took over Bromyard Road in February 2019 after the collapse of the MFA Bowl UK chain.
