A RARE £2 coin was being sold on eBay for way over its face value by a Kidderminster resident.
The Piedfort Technology £2 is listed on the online marketplace for 12 times its face value.
With Queen Elizabeth II on the back, the coin dates back to 1997.
The description reads: "Here we have a beautiful high-grade 1997 Technology bi-metallic £2 coin, struck in 925 silver proof piedfort.
"This is coin is stuck in high proof 0.925 silver stunning details.
"It makes a lovely addition to your own collection.

Bidding went up to £24, while delivery is priced at £3.80 for the coveted item.
