Event organiser and firefighter, Tom Brooks-Simon, said: "The Fire Fighters Charity is there when we need it most.
"They provide support to fire service staff for all eventualities, whether it be those suffering from mental health to physical injuries.
"They also support the direct families of fire service personnel at no cost to the recipient.
"We would really appreciate donations – you never know when you may require the fire service and the fire service never know when they may require the charity."
The charity offers assistance to fire service staff and their families for mental health issues, physical injuries, and more.
The group invites others to join their walk, with the route available on its Facebook page.
Donations can be made on its Just Giving page.
