A group of women who started meeting up in 1974 are still going strong today.
The Wednesday Morning Ladies, from Fernhill Heath just outside of Worcester, originally started as a group for young mothers to meet at the Baptist church in the village.
Two of the five original members, Bronwyn Mitchell and Myra Brierley, were present at a lunch the group held to mark their 50th anniversary.

Over the years, the group has grown and has seen many of the mums become grandparents and great-grandparents.
Mrs Mitchell said: "I think this is because we have a mixture of social activities, outdoor trips and simply a time to enjoy chatting together.
"We always start with keep-fit exercises although they are now less strenuous than previously."
Mrs Brierley added: "We are a very friendly group and have been able to support many local charities with our annual quizzes and competitions."
Minister Rev. Jeff Porter said: "It is wonderful that the ladies have been able to maintain this happy fellowship over such a long time and I hope they will continue to do so for many years."
