A FRUSTRATED resident has spoken about how he will "never use Amazon again" after he claims several parcels have gone missing.

Stuart Robinson, who lives in Battenhall, says Amazon failed to deliver a number of parcels to his address - despite the company telling him they have been delivered.

Over the past 12 months, Mr Robinson said several parcels have allegedly been delivered or marked as received.

But he says he has not been able to locate them.

In response, Amazon said it is investigating the instances and will be in contact with the customer.

"It is not every parcel but random ones," he said.

"Or it is registered as delivered but it hasn't.

"Or one time they marked it as handed to the resident, but I was in America, and when I checked the cameras, no one came to the house.

"It has been a constant battle."

He said the missing items range from cat food, shoe laces, and larger items.

Mr Robinson also suggested that Amazon delivery workers leaving some of his parcels at the bottom of his drive may mean they get stolen by those walking past.

He claims this could be another reason for the delivery problem.

"It is massively frustrating," he added.

"If they leave parcels on the wall, the children who want to be naughty can take them.

"I never want to use them again.

"I would much rather go without than use them again."

A spokesperson for Amazon said: “We have very high standards for the service providers we work with.

"We are investigating and will be in contact with the customer.”
