The award is a recognition of the school's dedication to providing a comprehensive education that prepares pupils for future challenges and opportunities.

Assistant headteacher Fay Munslow and headteacher Suzanne Beston accepted the award at a ceremony at Dartmouth House in London.

Ms Munslow said: "We are immensely proud of this prestigious award.

"We, as part of the Griffin Schools Trust, ensure all children experience exceptional opportunities to widen their horizons and develop as individuals."

The school has placed oracy skills at the core of its curriculum, allowing pupils to engage in debating competitions, Shakespeare festivals, the annual Griffin Arts Festival, and the Hays Literacy Festival.

These activities have all contributed to the development of students' public speaking and communication skills.

Ms Beston said: "Oracy skills are essential for our pupils' future success.

"By providing them with these valuable experiences, we are equipping them with the confidence and abilities to thrive in the world beyond the classroom."
