An award-winning Welsh singer-songwriter is set to perform in Worcester.

Martyn Joseph, who has been in the music industry for more than 40 years, will stop off in the city on his 2024 tour.

It follows the release of his new studio album, 'This Is What I Want To Say', which Fatea UK described as "masterful and career-defining".

His critically acclaimed 2021 record, '1960', was made Folk Album of The Month in Mojo and awarded four stars by Uncut, and remained in the UK Official Folk charts for much of 2022.

He also won a Wales Folk Award for his song 'Here Come the Young'.

Joseph is also the founder, along with his wife Justine, of non-profit organisation Let Yourself Trust, which has given away over half a million pounds to over 20 different projects over the last decade.

Joseph will be performing at Huntingdon Hall on Thursday, January 23.
