A major rail contractor is set to boost its ranks with a recruitment drive after opening several new offices.

QTS Group, headquartered in South Lanarkshire, has announced the opening of several new locations across England, including a new site in Droitwich.

The expansion means the national rail contractor will significantly increase its workforce in the area.

Currently employing more than 700 people across the UK, the contractor is now recruiting for a variety of roles.

Managing director Andy Steel said: "This expansion marks a significant step forward for QTS Group as we strengthen our operations across England and Wales.

"By establishing new offices and facilities, we are not only positioning ourselves to better serve our clients but also creating vital employment opportunities in key regions.

"We are actively recruiting engineers, commercial staff, and health and safety professionals to support both our existing contracts and future growth.

"This expansion allows us to increase our capacity, improve response times for emergency works, and maintain the high level of service our clients expect.

"It's a great opportunity for us to invest in the skilled workforce that drives the rail sector forward, ensuring we can meet both current demand and future challenges."

The Droitwich unit will support the company’s operations in the Wales and Western region and provide resources for emergency earthworks in the North-West and Central areas.
