THIS rare photo captures a snake swimming in a lake near Worcester.
Taken by Steven Jackson, the photo shows a grass snake in the water at Spetchley Park near Worcester.
Mr Jackson, an all-star contributor on the Worcester News Camera Club Facebook page, captured the unusual sight on May 1 this year.
"I noticed the snake slither from the bank into the water and swim away - I didn’t realise that grass snakes liked water so was surprised. Wonderful to witness," he said.
