A MAN was arrested after a van crashed into a stationary car.
At least three police vehicles had stopped on blue lights on Bromwich Road in Worcester after a crash on Friday (October 18).
A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after the crash.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a call around 6.45pm on Friday evening (October 18) with a report of a road traffic collision on Bromwich Road in Worcester.
"Officers arrived at the incident to find a van had collided with a stationary car.
"A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving."
A witness said: "There are at least two police cars and one police van, and a small crowd is forming just up from Donnelly's chippy.
"The officers are talking to a man in the back of the police van. It looks like an arrest."
