SPURS, hats and boots were on full display at a pub beer festival with the owners saying it was the busiest day they had ever had.
The Brewers Arms, a community-owned pub in West Malvern, was absolutely heaving according to the owners following a Wild West-themed beer festival.
The festival brought hundreds of new and old faces to the century-old pub to enjoy over 20 beers, can shooting and horseshoes.
The festival ran from October 18 to October 20 and was a "full-on community event".
West Malvern Voices and Beacon Morris stopped by on October 19 which was the busiest day since the community bought the pub in 2022 with more than 300 people joining in with the activities in a single day.
Sue Russell, treasurer of The Friends of The Brewers said: "We've had lots of people and it's been really busy.
"We've had people coming and going, Beacon Morris and West Malvern Voices both performed as well.
"Lee and Kim (the landlords) are both chefy and created a special menu for the weekend with chilli's, nachos and chicken wings, plus all of the beers are from local brewers.
"The pub was heaving, it was lovely and sunny, and there were loads of people stopping by and having lunch which is really good because it's the social focus of the village.
The Wild West theme came from the village being named West Malvern.
The pub also printed limited edition t-shirts and glasses for customers to mark the event all the while raising funds to go back into the community.
Martin Russell, a member of the community benefit society said: "It has been very popular, on Saturday (October 19) we must have had around 300 people, it was the busiest day since we reopened.
"For the first six months, the pub was staffed by volunteers from the village which wasn't sustainable but I think we made the right choice with Lee and Kim because they are very popular and make lovely food that is a cut above normal pub food."
According to the group, all 24 beers were very popular but the first one to sell out was Galaeth from Monty's Brewery.
The next event will be the Halloween Creeps on October 31, where customers will be asked to "dress to distress", but the group promised a nautical-themed beer festival last year.
