A WOMAN in her 40s has died and a girl was rushed to hospital following a crash on Saturday afternoon (October 19).
The collision happened around 1.15pm, when an Audi E-Tron, VW Passat, Ford Fiesta and Skoda Fabia collided on the A456 Hagley Causeway at Wassell Grove, heading towards Halesowen.
West Mercia Police have confirmed that the driver of the Audi, a woman in her 40s, died at the scene.
A girl in the Audi was taken to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
They also confirmed that two men, aged 25 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.
In a statement West Mercia Police said: "Officers would like to speak to anybody who may have seen the collision or from anybody who has dashcam footage from around the time it happened.
