A VILLAGE church has been draped in thousands of handmade poppies.
Over 5,000 poppies made in the village have adorned Inkberrow Church.
Inkberrow Parish Council councillor Elizabeth Jordan said: "The beautiful cascade of poppies at Inkberrow Church has all been sewn by the Women's Institute and ladies from the village.
"Over 200 people have knitted the 5,200 poppies on the display, aged between 6 and 99 years old.
"We started in January and finished it in August.
"It’s the first time it has been done but we hope to put it up every year to honour the fallen.
"There is also a purple poppy tribute to recognise the sacrifices animals made during the conflicts."
